Twilight Rainier is a bar in Seattle’s south end with a variety of bar eats that tend to be a bit higher quality than average. They’ve offered different vegetarian burger patties over time, so you can modify their menu items to be vegetarian. This go around they had Impossible patties. I opted for the bourbon onion burger, which has bourbon marinated onions, plain red onions, provolone, lettuce, pickles, and mayo. I like Impossible patties, and the flavor combination with the onions was tasty. It is a very messy burger as the onions like to slip out! The meal comes with a generous portion of fries, though you can also opt for tater tots or salad. The one downside is that it is a bit expensive, and you pay extra to substitute a veggie patty. Honestly, meat patties should subsidize the veggie patties – restaurants, take note!
Twilight Rainier has a few tables outdoors. It’s always nice to sit outside in good weather. Unfortunately, Rainier Avenue is one of the most dangerous roads in Seattle so the drivers going by make me a bit uncomfortable and the traffic can be a bit loud. Nonetheless, it’s good to have a burger and a brew with friends outside.
