My work decided to do a day at the baseball game, and I needed food. I opted for a veggie burger from Lil Woody’s inside the stadium. MISTAKE. All of their food is ready-made, so no modifications are necessary. Take it or leave it. And given they had ketchup at a condiments bar, it would have been nicer if it weren’t already included so people could fix to taste (or not). The veggie burger was an Impossible patty with ketchup, lettuce, pickle, and a tomato (which I removed). It was extremely plain, which can be fine, but not if it’s of meh quality and the price is high – which this was! The burger alone set me back $13.25 and the fries were another $7 extra. I know stadium food is expensive, but at least make it taste good! Already unhappy from the burger, I went for the fries. They were not great! The texture was off–they were stiff but not crispy.
Next time I have to go to a baseball game, I am sticking to cheap(er) snacks.
