Chutnej, Prague Vegan Burger

After a long and gorgeous walk through Prague, I made my way to Chutnej for yes, a veggie burger. This vegan restaurant offers several burger options in additional to a “menu”, which is a set offering at lunch time that is priced at a bit of a discount. Despite the lunch menu looking quite good, I opted to try a burger for the blog. I chose the Jarmuz burger – a cabbage patty with vegan cheese, greens and sprouts, and pickles. It was quite good and tasted very fresh. The vegan cheese itself was not super flavorful but it moistened everything well and worked. The only con to the burger was that the patty was quite squishy. The seasonal kombucha was a nice accompaniment to the meal.

In addition to the good food, this general neighborhood (Prague 7) is fun to explore with interesting shops, beautiful buildings, and a large park with a view over the city. The interior of the restaurant is airy, light, and full of plants. When in Prague in search of vegan eats, a veggie burger, or generally good food, check out Chutnej!
