I’ve been to Veggie Grill for lunch during work a few times. The food I had ordered previously was fine, but didn’t blow me away. This time, while there for a work meeting, I decided to try their “ultimate mushroom veggie burger.” Veggie Grill has a few Beyond Burger options on hand but I wanted to try their housemade mushroom and grain patty. The burger is served with melted American cheese, housemade special sauce, sprouts, tomato, pickles, and onion on a sesame seed bun. It was surprisingly good! The patty could have used a little more body, but despite being squishy, the burger didn’t deteriorate and become a mess. The other items in the burger provided really nice complementary flavors and the pickles struck me as particularly nice. I’ll certainly go back for a quick work lunch now that I have tried this option!
